Kids are really fun to photograph

Hudson dives for the football after it was kicked to him by his dad.

The old saying goes “Never work with kids or animals” but on this occasion a impromptu game of backyard footy was all that was needed to inspire me to bring out the camera & photograph some shots of the kids just being kids & having fun.

The young guy in this shot is certainly showing promise of being a talented footballer & I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time to shoot it.  Shot with a 50mm prime lens, I captured him mid air with his eyes on the ball as he dived in to plant it on the ground after it was kicked to him by his dad. Luckily I managed to get out of the way fast enough as he came hurtling towards me!
